DRAFT Declaration of Independence Today

Once, our forefathers declared upon what foundation we separate, establish, and seek our lives and fortunes with sacred honor.
Since then, increasingly often, someone declares a turning point, some greatest danger ever, another claim to ‘now is the time for somebody else’ to give or stand up. Legion are those who feel special, either above others or kept down by them.
Yet our liberty remains ever before us – already pricelessly given by the Creator to each, yet possessed by no person or group.
God in His sovereignty, permits an amazing liberty.  It is upon us to strive for and demonstrate in our lifelong choices what we seek first, what we cling to, and how we endure.
We know these truths: God orchestrates all things, and will bring all things to resolution and account.  In the meantime, imperfect people naturally tend to divide, separate, and compete to put themselves first.
Therefore, always now, we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether we continue to endure toward what we say we conceive and dedicate ourselves to.
                                                                                      Therefore, our continuing charge:
Do we dedicate, do we consecrate, do we hallow and honor, as others who endured to seek and sustain for us?  For each shall carry his own load.  Because this nation under God, is provided abundant opportunity for new births of freedom to build and renew government of, by, and for its citizens. No citizen has any excuse.  No non-citizen is accountable for this responsibility.
                                                                                               Therefore, our continuing questions:
What are the enduring questions in liberty, for citizens in any time, place, or situation?  Among them, are these:
What should we seek in common?
How should we bond with others to build, sacrifice, and share?
                                                                                       Therefore, our continuing challenges:
So, what are the enduring challenges to our heritage, sought and paid for by few, enjoyed and taken by many?  Among them are these:
Our fathers said Independence, endowed and justified by God.  Today, many religiously impose on others, each declaring himself in authority.
Our fathers established Constitution.  Today, we interpret as we please and say Progress.
Our fathers made Union despite slavery.  Today, we Celebrate Diversity while deceptively enslaving.
Our fathers balanced power.  Today, we promote inequity by special groups, special rights, loopholes, exemptions, feelings, and special punishment.
Our forefathers had little, but fought for.  Today we have much, but fight back and demand.
Therefore, each citizen’s continuing responsibilities for liberty and justice for all citizens.
First to give and sacrifice; rather than to take.
First to contend for others for what advances self-evident truths for all.  Not in fighting back; or, getting reparations, breaks, rehab, body parts; or, more chances.
First, from faith to faith, recognizing all authority comes from our Creator as proven by all creation.  Not by any means which removes this Authority for this nation.
First, in the Spirit of our Maker. who declares both love and commandments.  Government is compelled to derive its law and justice from God’s authority, not the traditions of men or the letter of the law.
First, subject to law in common, equitable applications of standards and behavior.  Not in personal feelings or interpretations, regardless of position or influence.
Not in a personal justice, but in earnestly contending for the common good.  First, by accepting the enumerated responsibilities of citizenship in the United States of America.  And then, by electing and holding leaders and fellow citizens accountable to our laws, equitably, in each case.
Therefore, when in law exists the means for each person to dedicate to our common responsibilities and accountability, let each who would receive the opportunities of liberty in this land, legally and without mental reservation or purpose of evasion, bind himself solely to this United States of America.   Whenever such law does not exist under God, there lives a natural law of Survival of the Fittest.  Therefore, whosoever chooses NOT to so bind themselves, receives neither rights nor responsibilities in this land.  Such lawful means must include:
The Oath of Citizenship
The Pledge of Allegiance
Enumerated Responsibilities and Accountabilities of Citizenship
                                                                                        Epilogue & Prologue
With malice toward none
and in the responsibility of all
we must bind up our dividing wounds
by binding ourselves to accountably strive
toward what we stand for.
