Is A Grain of Salt, Too Salty? Or, Is It a Mustard Seed?

Author’s Note on Context. My topic is about ‘We The People’, [us... not 'them'] today. In college football, today is the first day of an annual ritual called National Letter of Intent Day [NLOID], where the NCAA permits ‘kids’ to sign their pick from their college athletic scholarship offers. Yet in my opinion a simple post about this event on a public forum, illustrates far more than a fan being a fan. It concisely and clearly describes the predominant way we feel we think – about our selves, others, and ‘those kids’. So, I am writing about the kind of ‘thinking’ the content in this post reveals – not the poster, a forum, a school, or football. Why? Because it so aptly illustrates how deeply and pervasively we’ve conditioned our selves to our national addications*. Simply, understanding our national addications in what now is the ‘norm’ of Celebrating Diversity, is essential to understanding WIGO – what is going on.

I always take NLOI signing day with a grain of salt. Quite frankly I think the whole thing has grown to a level that is both out of control and potentially harmful to the recruits. That said I think too much attention is paid to the four and five star guys and not enough to the three star guys. tOSU will always get its share of the top recruits and will always miss out on its share. Where the real recruiting comes is after securing your fair share of the top recruits. Properly divining which of the lesser regarded recuits actually has the potential to be a top college player is where the hard part comes into play. JT and his staff always seem to give us at least one kid in every class that surprises us.

As evidence of that I remind you of a skinny kid from Toledo Central Catholic that many of us Toledoans felt would never do much at Ohio State. In case you don’t know who that is, I’ll give you a hint: he was the leading receiver for the North at the Senior Bowl

Descriptive Application of how We Feel We Think…

When I always take a thing the same way, it always is whatever I perceive and never changes. For me, I cannot think of a fairer definition of ‘fact-based’, because that makes me the Fairest in the Land.

In fact, it just makes me the Proper Diviner of Fair, and the Finest Friend of Fair – Fair Share. Being proper makes me the Fair Teller of Appropriate… and Inappropriate. This is so all Fair People know The Source of Totally, Honestly, Actually, Really [THAR]. Simply, I tell you …EXACTLY what to feel, think, say, and do. How else can you ‘Be Appropriate’, or stop being Inappropriate, but by My Proper Divining of Fair?

So, You must always be recruited and keep signing your commitment letters to keep getting more of your scholarship money which is never enough because you are always exploited. The real recruiting comes after securing your Fair Share…when You get …the rest.

Let Me Tell you some examples:

1-When you keep seeing so many stars. Isn’t it important to know which stars are the ones to look at and which are the ones to not look at as much? I AM Thee Proper Diviner to tell you to look more at less stars and less at more, except when I tell you that more stars is better. Otherwise, you could be starstruck, stargazing fo’ life, always star-tled, or superstarred into total excited addication*.

2-Quite Frankly. How can you see appropriately, see fair, see at all – without a Seer? I AM Thee Proper Diviner.

3-Getting Your Fair Share. Now a real leader always gets you your Fair Share or you wouldn’t be getting your Fair Share, and that would be Unfair. You can’t get your Fair Share because all the inappropriates in life are always taking from you. So you always need Thee Proper Diviner to get whatever for you. Only Thee Proper Diviner can fairly take …whatever is necessary and fair and appropriate. If you went off on your own and somehow earned, you might ‘make too much’ …. and become an evil oppressor. Appropriate to take… could be evil to make.

4-The Riddlin of Always Getting But Never Having. Now Thee Proper Diviner always gets his fair share, and charismatically fights to get for you, but no matter how much you get, you never get your Fair Share. How is this? Because inappropriate people are unfair. So all Fair People need Thee Proper Diviner to keep Divinely Fingering exactly who it is Fair to keep taking more from. But, most vitally, only Thee Proper Diviner can Seer though all the addications* to get much much more by the many ways a Seer can that you can’t see. See? [You] will always get [AND] always miss out on [your] share.

Definition: * addication. When you’re so addicted you can’t add. Sinonyms: The Extreme Makeover, Fantasy Island, Virtual Reality, not rising to the level, so it will never happen again…. Examples: deficit reduction, promising, more for education, affordable.

5-There’s a kid in Toledo that proves My point. And to every class, I’ll give you a kid every so often that you feel will never do much. Kids I give you will either be more Proof of My Fair Divining; or, a scapegoat – just like you feel your kids are when some Inappropriate Oppressor sells them for …a Fair Share that is never enough.

Meanwhile, watch out for whatever … it is potentially harmful.
