Now We Are Engaged in a Great Civil War, Testing….

Please consider: are We The People now engaged in a great Civil War, testing whether this nation, so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure? Are some people still giving their lives, their fortunes, their sacred honor…that this Nation might live?

What is this great Civil War? Its nature is in the nature of man: rebellious, egotistical, selfish. Or, use the nice appropriate phrase scientists use: “survival of the fittest”. What does “fittest” mean? Fittest means those few who get to the top of the pecking order by any means – chiefly physical, emotional deception, and declaring their superiority over others. I use the inclusive term “elitism”, because there are so many labels and claims and tricks by which elitists self-justify and cloak themselves, that who can keep up? Perhaps that’s ‘the idea’?

Lincoln continued that “it is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work”.

Interesting assertion about citizenship by Lincoln: if you are “living”, you are to be “dedicated”. To what? What unfinished work? Does imperfect man, selfish man, ever ‘finish’ a work? Not according to Evolution and Progress. Not according to Social Justice. Not according to ‘religion’ [ANY religion man invented or co-opted to justify 'my side'].

Man’s natural “unfinished work” is to get to the top, and control others’ lives to his heart’s content. The two most common words for this are “success” and “winning”.

So, the “government of the people, by the people, and for the people” is a MOST unnatural, environmentally unsafe, totally inappropriate … “experiment” established by a few strange men who recognized God as our Creator. Interestingly, these men did not denominate God or establish one of man’s many religions. They recognized God as self-evident by His creations, to include all men. They recognized God as providing freedom…because God self-evidently does NOT impose His will on men in this life…or we would all be slaves by His power.

In other words, God ‘permits’ our freedom by NOT exercising His power. It is MAN that deceives, manipulates, controls, enslaves other men by any and all means he can. How often do men do this…while declaring ‘people are naturally good’; or the personal version, “i’m just doing the best i can”?

But God gave us knowledge of good and evil. God gave men the ability to DISCRIMINATE between good and evil. God gave men the ability to ‘choose’. And God left the willingness of men…to men…to each person…to wrestle with.

So, We the People are always in this “Experiment” of a spiritual struggle against…our nature. We know of good things, and how to do good things…but our choices and will to do so…is ever on that Great Battlefield, testing whether each person, and this Nation so conceived and so dedicated, will long endure.

God is our Hope. Our motto is yet “In God We Trust”. Our struggle for liberty is ever within our selves, against our selfishness, and the self-justifying Elites who would ‘only do the best they can’ to run your lesser life.
