Thee Health Care of the Republic

Amidst all the sound and fury…signifying nothing…our fundamental American follies are Rising to the Level…of Nolo Contendre. Attention, American cowards; please, feel your way through these basics:

1-Who determines what is “affordable” for you? If you have a “catastrophic” condition, will our debtor government feel you are “affordable”? If government controls taxes, fees, definitions, rules, and appeals; who controls…affordable? Anything the government does NOT tell you is affordable…becomes what? Unaffordable. Do YOU realize what that means for every single bit of what the GOVERNMENT tells you is “health care” …or not? Can you sue the evil insurance companies? Yes. You CANNOT sue the Government unless ‘it’ ‘lets’ you.

2-Are there “30 million uninsured”? Fifteen million are ‘young’ who CHOOSE not to buy health care insurance. So, 15 million will lose “choice”…a “basic right” to “control your body”. Will you hear about this???

3-An estimated 12 of that 30 million uninsured are ILLEGAL immigrants. Twelve million reasons why anyone outside the US who “needs free health care”… will … “choose” [a basic human right] to come here however and get …whatever they can. Anyone who comes here illegally is “controlling their body”. But, once they get here, the government takes control. How has government ‘control’ worked so far?

4-Could a Government Cost Estimate, be accurate for the first time ever? Or, is it possible it could cost more like all Great Society financial track records since the 1960s? Or social security?

5-Is this Health Care the Final Solution…or the next step to more Great Society? Like other Entitlements, zero of which have been ‘final’ as first passed.

6-The “unsustainable” government debts of the United States exceed 100 Trillion dollars. BUT, if you only add 940 Billion to that debt, it’s not a Trillion and so you “save”? In other words, if we owe a dollar and save a penny by adding a dime, will our national credit card balance will be ‘better’? Proof: whether smarter or dumber, ALL Americans either cannot…or WILL NOT… add. But we DO keeping selling ourselves and our children, for more for Me, Now. Lincoln ended slavery with a Proclamation in 1863. After 147 years of Progress and Evolution, we enter slavery cheering or whining.

7-We cowards have successfully replaced God, the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and reason…with “the ends justify the means” of popularity and power.

8-We have graduated from a Nation of Cowards, to a Diversity of just sayers and feelers of whatever…salivating to the bells of HMV…His Master’s Voice.

9-We ALREADY HAVE “universal health care”! Why would you pay more…to LOSE it? Consider: if you do not choose health care insurance…does that mean you CANNOT have ANY health care? Duh. If you now go into any Emergency Room – can they legally deny you care? How many kinds of health care do we now have INDEPENDENT of “insurance”? Insurance is not Health Care…it is INSURANCE! When the Government takes over, ‘the law’ will require you to have EXACTLY what CARE you are TOLD…and nothing else…OR you will be fined and/or arrested.

10-Who does NOT “have a pre-existing condition”? The INSURANCE question is not exclusion by a pre-existing condition, but rather by what criteria each company determines the COST of insuring YOU given your condition. Now, Insurance Companies compete with each other for coverages and rates [see also #11]. When the Fed takes over…it will determine everything. Maybe you could illegally emigrate to Country X and get their ‘free’ health care!

11-Who now regulates Insurance Company authorization and terms for issuing insurance? A: the 50 States. How much HEALTH CARE capability will the 159 new Federal bureaucracies and hundreds of thousands of Federal Civil Servants [average 70k/yr] to tell the States what to do…add? Z.E.R.O.

12-When leaders, experts, and media all say ‘They’ aren’t listening…who’s listening? If you replace problem-solving and our Constitution… with ‘Whatever I feel is right”…what’s right? YOU cowards…no longer own your body. You are the property of the Federal Government. Legally, you are “chattel”. You have been redefined from dependent [welfare]…to ‘fetal tissue’ [you are 'affordable'...or not affordable].

13-Compare ‘the poor’ numbers in 1967 with ‘the poor’ after 43 years and trillions of benefits in the automatically growing Great Society programs. Stop whenever you start feeling bad or angry …and BLAME somebody…until you feel better or the numbers change by hoping.

Epilogue. In 2005, “national higher educational experts” deleted proportions on the SAT in order to “more fairly” test students for college aptitude. Proportions are a rational method to test the cognitive logical functions of comparing and contrasting. Our educational experts replaced this rational test with an essay. That was the day University…became Diversity…where we celebrate everything and discriminate between nothing. That was the day…we all entered the Health Care System. That was the day we officially institutionalized George Orwell’s “1984″. That was the American Experiment day T.S. Eliot characterized in “The Wasteland” as “ending with a whimper, not a bang”. Sorry Ben…cowards cannot keep a Republic. Cowards are kept by elites. But not to worry…we can blame, and play that Arena game of “whoever appeases the alligator most…gets eaten last”.

Meanwhile, those who would lead rape the first rule of Hippocrates: “do no harm”. Perhaps even Evolution teaches us that predators do not “heal themselves”…even nice and popular ones who have progressed past their Theory…to their Law.
